Our Services und Treatment Spectrum

We provide comprehensive orthopedic, surgical, and sports medicine care. Whenever possible, treatment begins with conservative options. Only when these are exhausted do we recommend surgical procedures. Below you will find an overview of common conditions and the treatments we offer.

Common Conditions

  • Arthritis and osteoarthritis: joint wear causing pain and stiffness
  • ACL tears: common sports injuries requiring precise diagnostics
  • Meniscus tears: treated conservatively or arthroscopically
  • Shoulder conditions: impingement, rotator cuff tears
  • Foot and ankle instability, including chronic ligament injuries
  • Hip and knee disorders requiring conservative or surgical care
  • Tendon issues like tennis elbow or Achilles tendinopathy
  • Fractures requiring surgical stabilization
  • General surgical conditions such as hernias

Treatment Options

Hyaluronic Acid Therapy

Hyaluronic acid acts as a natural lubricant inside the joint and helps cushion movement. During wear‑and‑tear arthritis, this lubricant becomes thinner and less effective, causing stiffness and pain. A series of injections can improve mobility, reduce discomfort, and slow cartilage breakdown. The treatment is gentle and works well for patients who want to delay or avoid surgery. Many patients notice gradual improvement over several weeks.

PRP Therapy (Platelet-Rich Plasma)

PRP therapy uses growth factors extracted from your own blood to support the body’s natural healing processes. It is particularly effective for tendon injuries, early‑stage arthritis, and persistent sports injuries. The treatment stimulates tissue repair, reduces inflammation, and may shorten recovery time. Because it uses only your own cells, PRP is considered a very natural and well‑tolerated therapy. Many patients choose PRP when conservative treatments have not been enough.

Cellular Matrix (PRP + Hyaluronic Acid)

Cellular Matrix combines two powerful regenerative tools: PRP and hyaluronic acid. The hyaluronic acid component lubricates the joint, while PRP provides biological support for tissue regeneration. This dual approach is especially helpful for patients with early to moderate arthritis. The injection is performed under sterile conditions and takes only a few minutes. Many patients report reduced pain and improved mobility within weeks.

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy delivers mechanical impulses to stimulate healing in irritated or chronically overloaded tissue. It improves blood flow, reduces pain, and activates the body's natural repair mechanisms. It is well suited for tendon problems like plantar fasciitis, Achilles irritation, or tennis elbow. Most patients require only a few sessions. The treatment is completely non-invasive and does not require downtime.

Laser Diode Therapy

Laser therapy uses targeted light energy to promote cell metabolism and reduce inflammation. This helps accelerate healing in muscles, tendons, and connective tissue. It is ideal for chronic soreness, overuse injuries, and lingering inflammation. Sessions are short and painless. Many patients appreciate laser therapy as a gentle add‑on to their rehabilitation plan.

ROSA Robotic-Assisted Surgery (Expanded Section)

ROSA stands for Robotic Surgical Assistant – a highly advanced platform that supports surgeons during the planning and performance of knee replacement procedures. Using real‑time data and precise measurements, ROSA helps position implants with millimeter-level accuracy, improving alignment and long‑term function. This precision allows for smaller incisions, less soft‑tissue trauma, and reduced blood loss during surgery. Patients typically experience faster recovery, less postoperative pain, and a quicker return to walking.

The Zentralklinik in Waiblingen was the first hospital in Baden‑Württemberg to introduce ROSA in May 2023, and more than 300 successful procedures have been performed since then – a milestone that underscores the experience of our surgical team.

Our partners

The Zentralklinik is located in the same building complex, enabling the joint practice to care for, treat and look after inpatients at all hours. The facilities in the Zentralklinik were recently renovated from the the ground up and fulfil all the latest requirements.

A physiotherapy practice, medical supply store and chemist are also partners of the joint practice and all under the same roof, meaning patients don’t have to travel far. This also makes it easier for doctors and therapists, for example, to share information.

Our final partner located at Alter Postplatz 2 is the radiology practice. They ensure that any check-ups are performed in a timely manner and are kitted out with equipment for procedures such as computer tomography and scintigraphy.
